Team
East Carolina Motorsports is a student-run organization supported through the ECU Department of Engineering. Each year, the team builds a Baja car for competition in regional events across the U.S., competing against other teams from universities from all over the world. In order to build a competition-ready Baja car, students must play the roll of designer, fabricator, mechanic, engineer, and sales & marketing. The ECU Motorsports Baja Team is an excellent way to learn real world skills while having a meaningful way to relate the skills developed in the classroom.
